The 47th National Track and Field Championship
As the title states, it was the Nationals yesterday and i had two events one at 9.30am and the other at 4.30pm...I'd say it really wasn't too bad. Just that i'm really pissed at the stupid discus (straight finals). X(
Shot put: Yes, well... please do not take it as though i were snobbish but it really wasn't that much of a problem for me. It was after all just a qualifying round. So as long as the shot flies past the 7.5m mark, you're in. >.<
Discus: Now this is the one that i feel scared about but surprisingly during the competition i wasn't that nervous at all! My trial shot was fine so my worries were lightened. My first shot stunned everyone along with myself. I can bet you it was fluke coz i felt it slip through my fingers. haha...it landed at 23.47m...everyone clapped though that was what we did whenever a thrower passed the 20m mark. There was this one St. Nick's girl that i was eyeing the entire time. She was huge! built like a freaking amazon. When she began to use the full throw which was basically inclusive of a spin i knew i'd be getting owned sooner or later...sigh* so anyway she got as close to me as an impressive 23.22m...She advanced to the next round as did i. This was the round of the top 8. We were given another 3 throws. Her first was around 21.+ or 22.+m, her seond a mere 18+m...i really wasn't too worried at that point in time. It was at her final shot that i crossed my fingers like MAD! damn it! she flund the damn discus with an inhuma shout and it soared...my coach and i thought that it would get out the of the sector for it really looked i like it would...DAMN IT ALL! it stayed within it by just a bit...so that was when i knew that i rather much got whopped upside down by the amazon, pamela...grrr.........damn her! So my first was out of the bloody sector, my second a lousy 21/22+m and my final shot...the one that would decide the competition screwed me upside down...i knew i could do it but damn...it hit the damn net coz it slipped. The moment it came in contact with the accursed net, the little groupie of St. Nick's girls in the stands screamed in f-cking joy....What ever the case, Just watch out St. Nick's...i'll be seeing you at the shot-putt pit and i won't hold back! There will be no mercy when the next year comes. NO mercy shall be shown for your little juniors coz none will be given in return...For those sad people that don't understand a word i just typed, i was second in the 47th National Track and Field Championship.
